Commercial Interior Designers
Full-time | Remote or Hybrid – depending on your location
Formroom is a multi-disciplinary award-winning design agency creating transformative environments for global retail and hospitality brands. We are currently recruiting Interior Designers, of Mid to Senior levels to join our creative studio.
We’re looking for designers who are creatively confident, technically fluent, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative studio.
What we’re looking for:
This role is for someone with strong interior design and visualisation skills who can confidently and independently contribute across concept development, technical design, and client communication. The candidate will have 4-10 years experience working commercially on retail, restaurant and cafe interior design – from concept through to technical.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Highly proficient in Cinema 4D
- Highly proficient in Vectorworks for technical drawing and spatial planning
- Strong working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Excel)
- Highly experienced in developing very strong concepts, from beautiful loose sketches (digitally or by hand) through to high-quality renders for client presentations
- Ability to produce accurate and engaging technical intent drawing packs
- Confident in client-facing meetings, presenting ideas and receiving feedback
- A strong knowledge of how interior and bespoke furniture are constructed, including appropriate material selection
Desirable (but trainable):
- Familiarity with Figma (used for internal presentations)
- Knowledge of digital sketching tools
- Understanding of Insight & Strategy in brand-led environments
- Graphic / branding / animation design skills
What you’ll be working on:
From immersive retail environments to branded hospitality and lifestyle experiences, you’ll collaborate closely with our team of designers and project managers to bring ambitious ideas to life. You’ll also be involved in shaping concepts, storytelling, and helping to maintain Formroom’s reputation for intelligent, innovative design.
