We delivered Levi’s pop up shops, concessions and showrooms for the iconic denim brand.

Formroom has partnered with Levi’s for a series of retail activation’s across the UK. Levi’s approached FormRoom to evolve their brand interiors, and create a series of Levis’ pop up design concepts focusing particularly on their female customer and how we could make Levi’s a more inviting and inspirational space for ‘her’.

Focusing on new ways of presenting the campaign imagery and styling, we took the core DNA of Levi’s brand and added a fresh, contemporary twist. Our team developed design concepts and transformed a derelict warehouse in Fitzrovia into a brand-new wholesale, brand and event space for the Levi’s, ‘Made in Crafted’ and ‘Levi’s Vintage Clothing’ lines.

Old parquet floors are brought  back to life, new partition walls were built, installed lighting features and manufactured bespoke furniture.

A custom-built coffee table and armchairs looked to create a comfortable, more intimate space to discuss samples with clients. Bold colour and pattern rugs were used to give areas an identity separate to the rest of the room. Fashion-focused books were displayed on the shelves both vertically and staked horizontally throughout the showroom. While a selection of jars and vases in varying sizes and materials added interest to the environment.

Our Levis’ pop up design concept had a very short lead-time and was installed ready for the opening press launch.

A Levi’s Pop Up in Shoreditch Introducing the Line 8 collection.

To cultivate Line 8’s muted aesthetic, our Levis’ pop up shop emulated a minimalist concept store. This aesthetic was carried through to the in-store design following a monochrome colour palette with contemporary fixtures.

The pop up shop design mirrored the refined manner of the collection. The front façade and store interior were decorated, paying close attention to small details. We built bespoke furniture using a combination of white and black washed plywood. Box section metal railings were powder coated, with upholstered seating and changing room curtains. Both the pattern rug and changing room mirrors were sourced by FormRoom.

As a final touch, the team commissioned and installed neon lighting.  Exposed brick walls, raw metal work and wood flooring added a Western-industrial edge.

Design and Production for Levi’s x John Lewis.

Launched as part of Levi’s 50th Anniversary celebrations of the Trucker Jacket, was inspired by campaign imagery shot in New Orleans.

Design elements and features work to reflect the vibe of a backstage space where musicians hang out. This vibrant installation combined colours, stories and different people wearing the iconic Trucker jacket.

Neon signage, lighting framework feature, reversed frames with urban backgrounds and strings with denim fibres create dynamic and intriguing moments. Installation of speakers and inspirational images add instagrammable moments to the space. Built-in lighting was used throughout the installations to bring the whole display to life.
